A LONG TIME COMING

What’s better than cheese and charcuterie? A nice glass of wine expertly paired with an imported cheese, and perfectly cut charcuterie. Cured & Whey has finally been approved for liquor and we are pouring some amazing wines from America and all over the world.
Starting at 10AM (Beginning of Lunch Service) we are going to be pouring a variety of wines selected by Chef Michael himself, representing the best of the best of the wines that pair with our vast inventory of domestic and imported cheese and charcuterie.

A relaxing glass of wine is the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Maybe getting a bottle of wine and splitting amongst friends while you enjoy and share a chefs choice cheese and charcuterie board.

Our wines are priced by both the glass and the bottle (with a few exceptions), and our community seating makes Cured & Whey the perfect wine and cheese spot for an amazing evening.

Intersekt Rose Sekt – Extra Dry

Bright acid with citrus notes of strawberry, melon, apple and pear.

Kennedy Shah La Vie en Rouge Red Blend – 2016

This blend offers up rich, concentrated blackberry and cassis fruit, with some light spice, hints of vanilla, smoke and dark chocolate with firm well-integrated tannins. Outstanding balance and a long very fruity and complex finish.

Dussek Syrah – 2016

Offers lovely mouthfeel, with creamed pear, green fig and yellow apple flavors, ganache and warm fruitcake. Intense, showing ample toast through the pleasant and polished finish.

JP Chenet Sparkling Rose NV

Subtle aromas of red fruit – raspberry, strawberry. Beautiful pink bubbles with salmon pink hints.

Moillard Macon-Villages Chardonnay – 2017

Straw-gold colour, medium intensity, big tears. Clean nose, oakey, hints of spice and tropical fruit (pineapple, banana). Dry on the palate, medium-full bodied, medium acidity

Magnolia Chardonnay – 2015

Light to medium golden yellow in color. Aromatics of golden delicious apple, apricot and pineapple. The palate is viscous and supple with a great texture further lending to tropical fruit, apple and lemon zest. This wine is held together with bright acid with the perfect amount of body and structure from a touch of new French oak.

Velvet Fog Pinot Noir

This wine displays aromas of berry cobbler, cherry and strawberry fruit. A lush mouthfeel and soft tannin structure is accented by nuances of caramelized sugar, nutmeg and pepper that linger on the finish.

Breaking Bread Zinfandel – 2018

A fresh, crisp wine, that preferably should be enjoyed slightly chilled, which has a back bone of acidity and an unmistakable minerality that leaves your palate wanting more.

Shannon Ridge Petite Sirah – 2017

Picked at the peak of ripeness, this rustic varietal shows off dark fruits of blackberry, blueberry and hints of cranberry, black pepper, cedar, warm spices and toasty vanilla notes come out after aging this wine in a combination of French and American oak for 9 months.

Buck Shack Cabernet Sauvignon – 2017

This mountain top Cabernet boasts deep dark fruits with a complex and structured finish. Soft notes of chocolate and oak abound, balancing the dense plum and berry in perfect harmony.

Quinta do Soalheiro Primeiras Vinhas Vino Verde – 2015

Citrus colour, elegant and full flavour that grows in the glass, becoming increasingly persistent. The flavour is full bodied, fresh and complex with great final complexity.

Malhadina Nova Monte de Peceguina Red Blend – 2016

Bold and rich, this wine has plenty of tannins to allow it to age, and equally generous ripe black-plum fruits to make it attractive now. Solid and firm, the wine is already drinkable with its juicy fruitiness.

Casal Thaulero Orsetto Oro – 2014

Full bodied for a white, rich in the mouth, very good acidity balances touch of sweetness well. Minerality flirts with saltiness, adding another nice nuance

Gavi di Gavi – 2018

Noted for its bone-dry character and crisp, flinty and fresh acidity, coming from the mineral-rich soils of the area

Bodegas Santo Tomas – 2017

Short maceration in stainless steel tanks. Ruby red diaphanous color, red fruits reminiscent of bilberry and blackberry. Delicate, fruity, complete tannic structure. Long and balanced finish.

Quinta de Linhares – 2017

This medium to full-bodied wine has great depth of flavor and a wonderful, lively mouthfeel. It ends long with plenty of lingering grapefruit and pear flavors.

Wakefield Estate – Shiraz – 2015

This is a commanding wine with multiple layers of intense, lush dark berry fruit followed by spicy fruitcake & seductive mocha. Elegant acids and light, long tannins carry the palate to a persistently rewarding finish

Champagne Deutz Brut Classic NV

The three different champagne grapes are blended in equal and unchanging proportions, ensuring it shows perfect harmony. Its golden color scintillates in the glass, with a fine stream of bubbles rising gracefully to the surface.

Jean Loron-Chateau de Bellevue Fleurie – 2014

This intense, concentrated young wine demands plenty of aging. Red-berry flavors are there along with a powerful tannic structure. Still firm and dry even though with potential fruitiness.

Leon Beyer Gewurztraminer – 2015

Almost overripe peach notes dominate the nose. Far more sprightly, the palate has a phenolic, textured note of citrus pith with a pleasantly bitter aspect. The finish is warm but fresh.

Dom Gayda Flying Solo Rose – 2018

There are some pleasant gamy tones to the plum and cherry fruit on the nose of this wine, with decadent touches of white chocolate and peach pit. Zippy acidity picks up the palate, finishing fresh and easy.

Dom Gayda Franc – 2016

Opaque, perfumed with fragrant black cherry, cassis and spice. Full bodied, intense with countless layers of flavour including blackcurrant, cedar and graphite.

Dom Gayda Chemin de Moscou – 2016

Deep purple, almost opaque in colour with an expressive nose of black fruits, pepper, cinnamon, spice and violets. A seductive palate of dark hedgerow fruits, very open and welcoming with an explosion of fruit and spice.

Moillard Bourgogne Pinot Noir – 2017

Simple red-cherry flavors and soft tannins set this wine up as a easy, light style of Pinot Noir. It offers fruit and plenty of acidity at the end.

Moillard Chablis – 2018

Light and zesty, this is an immediately attractive wine. Acidity and a mineral texture give it a cool character enhanced by the citrus flavors.
